Wyoming Foundation Awards over $12,000 in Grants for County Programming

WYOMING COUNTY, NY, JULY 16, 2013 -- The Wyoming Foundation, a division of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, has awarded over $12,000 to nine nonprofit organizations for its 2013 grant cycle. Awards were provided to Wyoming County programs that focus on the education and the arts and culture sectors.

2013 Wyoming Foundation grant recipients include:

  • Arts Council for Wyoming County
  • Buffalo Audubon Society
  • Business Education Council
  • Eagle Free Library
  • HomeCare and Hospice Foundation
  • Perry Public Library
  • Stevens Memorial Community Library
  • Western New York Rural Area Health Education Center, Inc.
  • Wyoming Free Circulating Library Association

Since 1977, the Wyoming Foundation has actively supported cultural, educational and human services organizations throughout the county. The Wyoming Foundation became a division of the Community Foundation in the fall of 2007 and in 2012, introduced a Needs Assessment to Wyoming County residents that identified, education and arts and culture as the county’s two priority areas.
