Buffalo, NY – The Communities of Giving Legacy Initiative (CGLI) recently recognized four individuals and organizations at its third annual Pay It Forward Awards ceremony on Thursday, November 12, 2015.

The CGLI was established in 2008 as a fund and initiative of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo and is led by multi-cultural, multi-ethnic civic leaders of color who recognize the importance of endowment building as a sustainable means of inspiring philanthropy for and within Western New York communities of color.

The Pay It Forward Award was created by the CGLI Council in honor of those individuals and organizations that have helped youth of color create a legacy of success.
