Wyoming Foundation Announces New Council member and 2016 Officers

Warsaw, NY – The Wyoming Foundation today announced its 2016 council members and officers, including one new local leader, Meghan N. Lawton, who is joining the council.

Meghan is the Vice President of Tourism and Marketing for the Wyoming Chamber & Tourism and brings extensive experience in the business and marketing sectors that complement and advance the Wyoming Foundation’s mission to provide support to organizations that improve the lives of Wyoming County residents.

“We are thrilled to welcome Meghan as the newest member of the Wyoming Foundation Council,” said Foundation Council Chair, Scott Gardner. “The group of volunteers who make up the Wyoming Foundation includes individuals who have deep roots in the County and demonstrate an extraordinary willingness to serve our region. Each council member provides essential guidance and input, allowing the Wyoming Foundation to serve the clients who generously support a variety of cultural, educational and human services organizations throughout the County.”

The Wyoming Foundation is a geographic division of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo and works to strengthen the quality of life in Wyoming County by encouraging charitable giving, assessing and responding to the community’s changing needs, and serving as a resource and catalyst for local charitable activities.

2016 Wyoming Foundation Council Officers include: Scott Gardner, Chair; Anne Conable, Vice Chair; and Eric Szucs, Secretary/Treasurer.

Other Wyoming Foundation Council members include: Dave Almeter, Adrianna Betts, Barbara Dominesey, Laura Lane, Joan Mokdessi, and Allan Smith.
