Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo Announces Three Promotions
Buffalo, NY – The Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to helping clients make the most of their generosity, announces three promotions to further the Foundation’s work of connecting people, ideas and resources to improve lives in Western New York.
Betsy Constantine – Executive Vice President
As the Executive Vice President, Betsy’s will continue to drive the organization’s growth by connecting prospective clients to the Community Foundation’s unique services, guide organizational strategy and heighten the visibility of the Foundation’s mission. Betsy will serve as the acting executive in the absence of the President/CEO, Clotilde Perez-Bode Dedecker.
Betsy started with the Foundation in April of 2009 in the position of Gift Planning Officer. In 2010 she was promoted to Vice President, Giving Strategies. Throughout this time Betsy has continued to evolve and elevate the Community Foundation’s brand. Prior to joining the Community Foundation team, Betsy worked in the financial services industry in New York City for Morgan Stanley and then Vice President of High Net-Worth Marketing Communications at Lehman Brothers.
Betsy has aB.S. in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College and a M.S. in Social Work from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Betsy was named a “40 Under 40” awardee by Business First and an Athena Award finalist.
Felicia Beard – Director, Racial Equity Initiatives
Felicia began her career at the Community Foundation in February 2016 as Special Projects Director where she excelled in managing the partners of the Greater Buffalo Racial Equity Roundtable and coordinating the launch of the Roundtable. As Director, Racial Equity Initiatives, Felicia will support, both internally and externally, the Foundation’s commitment to increase racial/ethnic equity in Western New York.
Felicia is a two time graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with aB.S. in Legal Studies and a M.S. in Applied Public Affairs. Prior to joining the Community Foundation team, Felicia worked at HealthNow New York where she managed community engagement and enrollment.
Aubrey Hammond – Scholarship Officer
As Scholarship Officer, Aubrey will manage all scholarship processes, as well as review and monitor specific grants focused on educational attainment. Aubrey began her career at the Community Foundation in September 2015 as Scholarship Associate and led efforts to identify opportunities for overall streamlining and process improvement.
Aubrey graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo with aB.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Anthropology.
