CGLI Challenge Grant Expires on Dec 31,2013
The CGLI has been the recipient of a generous challenge grant whereby it will receive $1 for every $3 it raises (up to $100,000) before 12/31/13. The CGLI has $38,260 left to raise by 12/31/13. We are close to our goal! Will you consider a donation today?

Entitled "People, Places and Experiences from Buffalo to Washington, DC, the video detailed their weeklong civic engagement trip in their own words. The CGLI is proud of this very bright group! CGLI Youth "Paying it Forward"
Upon return from Washington DC, the CGLI youth are charged with “Pay it Forward” and sharing what they learned in Washington DC with their peers and their community. Best Wishes to our Youth Leadership Buffalo of Erie County 2013 Graduate!
Each year, the CGLI sponsors 1 local youth for Leadership Buffalo's Youth Leadership of Erie County Program as part of its Success Looks Like Me initiative. This year, the CGLI sponsored Nadierah Sanders, a senior at Oracle Charter School. We attended her graduation ceremony last Thursday. Click here to read more about our 2013 graduate! Building our endowment, one gift at a time
The CGLI has received a generous gift in the amount of $12,000.00 to support its mission of building endowment to create positive change in the lives of low-income youth of color via access to people, places, and experiences. The CGLI has also received a generous challenge grant whereby it will receive $1 for every $3 it raises (up to $100,000) before December 31, 2013. Therefore, this generous gift has triggered a $4,000.00 matching grant.
