Brendan Harrington is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo. In this role, he oversees finance, accounting, investments and operations. Brendan is responsible for strategic financial management, asset management, risk assessment, business process management, facilities, IT and talent management. He works closely with the Board of Directors and its Finance and Investment Committees to implement their fiscal policies.
Brendan has more than 30 years of experience in accounting and administrative functions including finance and accounting administration, IT management, investor relations and enterprise risk management. Previously, Brendan worked for over 23 years at Computer Task Group where he served in several positions including CFO and Interim CEO. Prior to CTG, he was with Price Waterhouse Coopers. Immediately prior to joining the Community Foundation, Brendan was Chief Financial Officer at Sentient Science Corporation.
Brendan received his B.S. degree in accounting from Canisius College and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
