Katie Meyer is the Community Impact Assistant and Youth Employment Coalition (YEC) liaison at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo. In this role, she provides administrative support to the Chief Community Impact Officer/Chief of Staff and the Community Impact Team, which promotes the Community Foundation’s goals of advancing education, racial/ethnic equity, the environment and arts and architecture. As the YEC liaison, Katie sends out all communications on behalf of the coalition, organizes coalition meetings and supports partnerships between coalition members.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Katie worked at The Buffalo News, most recently as the Director of E-Commerce, where she managed all operations at The Buffalo News Store both online and at its physical location after executing its launch in 2020. Prior to that, Katie worked at Hagerty & Brady as a Paralegal and Office Manager, and at Houghton Mifflin Company as Executive Assistant, Institutional Partnerships, College Division
Katie received her B.A. in English from Boston College and her Paralegal Certificate from Boston University. She is also a graduate of Leadership Buffalo.
