Sira Faye is a Program Officer at the Community Foundation. In this role, she manages a portfolio of grantmaking programs that support the Community Foundation’s current community goals of advancing education, racial/ethnic equity, the environment and arts and architecture. Sira manages the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) for housing rehabilitation, lead hazard control and asthma prevention. She also administers the East Side Collaborative Fund, as well as specific grants for lead poisoning prevention.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Sira lived in New York City where she worked for Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group. There she served as a key contributor to the successful completion of a $1 billion real estate and marketing sales project, working cross-functionally with teams across industries to keep special projects on track.
Sira received her M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from The New School in New York City, and a B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance and French Language from Concordia University in Montreal.
