Raquel Alvarez

Raquel Alvarez is Director, Governance and Special Projects at the Community Foundation. In this role, Raquel manages communications with the Board and provides administrative and logistical support. She also supports the Board’s governance responsibilities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Raquel worked at Daemen University as the administrative assistant to the Chief Information Officer, where she managed budget accounts, departmental schedules, and procurement and purchasing. Prior to that, Raquel was a customer service representative with Best Self.

Raquel received her Bachelor of Arts in Natural Science from Daemen University.
