Please watch this brief video to learn more about how the Community Foundation partners with professional advisors.
Honoring Your Clients’ Wishes
We aim to work collaboratively with you to serve your clients’ philanthropic wishes. As a professional advisor, you are the most important resource for planned giving and cultivating a substantial charitable legacy. The Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo is another tool for you to make your offering even more impactful. We will work alongside you to formulate a plan that best suits your clients’ needs and you will be at the helm, helping to create a charitable solution based on what matters most to your client.
Partnering with Us
First and foremost, we act only as directed by you, getting as involved as you see fit. Our performance is proven, and we believe you and your client will see the value of our guidance.
Our assets are professionally managed and have consistently outperformed benchmarks. Each of our client’s charitable assets reap the benefits of our more than $870 million investment portfolio. What we bring is expertise in working with individuals and families to help them articulate their charitable wishes and determine appropriate solutions.
Best of all, we make it easy for both you and your client. Clients are not required to file a Form 990, protecting their privacy. Funds with us are not subject to annual taxes or minimum payout requirements. The process for creating a named fund could not be simpler.
At the end of the day, the role we play is up to you. Working with us in any capacity means making the most of your client’s charitable dollars. To learn more, please contact Megan Sommerfeldt at (716) 852-2857 ext. 227 or megans@cfgb.org.
