Lillian Kahris

Lillian Kahris is the Knowledge Management Officer at the Community Foundation. In this role as part of the Community Impact team, she evaluates, analyzes and tracks progress toward achieving the Foundation’s mission of connecting people, ideas and resources to improve lives in Western New York.

Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Lillian was a Project Director at the Western New York Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO, where she led the development of the Worker Empowerment Center initiative from concept to pilot program operation and prepared comprehensive needs assessments. Previously, she worked as an MSW Research Assistant at the University of Michigan where she supported qualitative research on the Poverty Solutions Team.

Lillian received her B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and her M.S.W. in Policy and Political Social Work from the University of Michigan.
