Allie Urbanski

Allie Urbanski serves as the Director of Community Impact at the Community Foundation, where she works as a member of the Community Impact Team promoting the goals of advancing educational achievement, racial/ethnic equity, the environment and arts and culture. In this capacity, she contributes to grantmaking efforts and the Foundation’s leadership and policy initiatives. Allie is responsible for ensuring the Community Foundation’s commitment to racial/ethnic equity through assisting with the work of the Racial Equity Roundtable and its 10-point strategic agenda. She also co-leads the Niagara Area Foundation, a division of the Community Foundation committed to strengthening Niagara County by addressing critical needs to improve lives.

Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Allie worked as a Coordinator at Cornell University’s Office of Academic Diversity Initiatives, where she managed mentoring programs and developed a strategic plan for first-generation U.S. citizens. Previously, she worked for five years as a Teach for America high school English teacher in Oxford, North Carolina where she was named Teacher of the Year.

Allie triple majored and received her B.A. in Art History, English and History from the University of Rochester and her Masters in Public Affairs from Cornell University.
