Community Foundation Announces 2025 Daniel C. and Beatrice M. Fisher Fund Competitive Grants Awards 

Buffalo, N.Y. — The Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, on behalf of Daniel C. and Beatrice M. Fisher Fund, announced awards totaling nearly $90,000 to six Western New York nonprofit organizations located in or serving the town of Clarence through the Fund’s 2025 Competitive Grants process. According to the clients’ wishes, grants have been awarded to area nonprofits that support public educational, charitable, recreational, conservation, cultural, or benevolent uses and purposes as may benefit persons living in the Town of Clarence.
A preference was given to requests that: address the needs of the senior citizen population; improve the academic outcomes for special needs students; address matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion for all residents resulting in positive change; and/or improve the natural environment, including matters of conservation and recreation.
The Daniel C. and Beatrice M. Fisher Fund 2025 Competitive Grants recipients are:
·      Arts for Learning WNY – $12,517
·      Brothers of Mercy – $20,000
·      Christian Counseling Ministries of Western New York, Inc. – $12,000
·      Clarence Public Library – $3,000
·      FeedMore WNY, Inc. – $30,000
·      Hearts and Hands–Faith in Action, Inc. – $12,000
