Wyoming Foundation Now Accepting Applications for its 2025 Competitive Grant Process

Warsaw, N.Y. — The Wyoming Foundation, a geographic affiliate of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, is accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations serving Wyoming County for its 2025 grant cycle. Applications are due by 4 p.m. on April 30, 2025, and can be submitted online at www.wyomingfoundation.org.
For the 2025 competitive grants process, the Wyoming Foundation will give funding preference to grant applications focusing on at least one of its two priorities as determined by its 2023 strategic planning process:
  • Educational opportunities for youth and adults
  • Arts and cultural opportunities for youth and adults

The Wyoming Foundation is open to considering initiatives outside of its two priority areas that address a need and/or create an opportunity for residents and have a positive impact within Wyoming County. However, preference will be given to the two priorities listed above.

The maximum grant available through the Wyoming Foundation competitive process is $5,000. Approximately $32,000 is available to support 2025 competitive grants.

For nearly 50 years, the Wyoming Foundation has been a force for good by creating positive community impact through the generosity of individuals and families who are passionate about giving back to support the needs of our Wyoming County residents. With just under $5 million in assets, the Wyoming Foundation has supported a wide variety of cultural, educational and human services organizations that specialize in enhancing the County’s arts and cultural institutions, improving literacy and strengthening the County’s cradle-to-career pipeline.
