For more than six decades, Arts for Learning WNY has developed and delivered education programs in all artistic disciplines to more than 3 million children and families across Niagara County and Western New York. Art forms include music, multi-media arts, theater, dance, and visual and literary arts, as it works to inspire, expand learning, and strengthen our community through engagement with the arts.
The Niagara Area Foundation was proud to support this work with a 2025 grant.
“This grant helped Arts for Learning WNY (A4L) expand access to free high-quality, hands-on arts experiences for children and families in Niagara County through our partnership with Artpark,”explained Beth Ireland, Director of Development and Marketing at Arts for Learning WNY. She added that A4L Teaching Artists led eight workshops that reached 168 participants through free Wonder Wednesday programming and Artpark’s summer camps.
Beth noted that beyond the direct participant impact, the funding support allowed A4L to build a new relationship with Artpark, share expertise and ideas with their artists and staff, and create a foundation for continued collaboration.
“That partnership has already led to conversations about future arts programming and opportunities to bring A4L Teaching Artists to more children and families in Niagara County,” said Beth.
