Meeting with Community Foundation Staff
If you’ve reviewed all the above information and want to possibly meet with a Community Foundation staff member to discuss your nonprofit, please click here to fill out a meeting request form.
  • Staff have blocked a limited amount of time on their schedules and meetings are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • We will offer one of these meetings per year to each qualified nonprofit organization.
We offer these meetings:
  • As an introduction to established 501(c)(3) nonprofits that have received their letter of determination from the Internal Revenue Service, no exceptions. We will request proof should the national database not show the organization’s nonprofit status.
  • To discuss funding options offered by the Community Foundation as applicable
  • To discuss a nonprofit’s current status
Please note, these meetings are NOT for:
  • Other types of nonprofits; 501(c)(3)s only
  • Discussing how to establish a nonprofit
  • Legal advice
  • Learning how to write an application
  • Discussing access to client advised funding sources
  • Discussing a denial. Please refer to the denial communication for the proper contact and reach out to that staff member directly.
  • Scholarship information. For students looking for scholarships, please click here.
  • Establishing an organizational endowment at the Community Foundation. For those interested in organizational endowments, please click here.
Staff will review your request for a meeting and respond appropriately if there is alignment with our funding processes. Should other options be more suitable, we may refer you to other resources or funders. Again, meeting spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
