Forty Western New York Organizations Receive Nearly $844,000 in Grants from the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo 

Buffalo, N.Y. — The Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo recently announced awards totaling nearly $844,000 to 40 Western New York nonprofit organizations through its 2026 Competitive Grants process ranging from $10,000 to $40,000. These grants have been awarded to area nonprofits that support at least one of the Community Foundation’s four community goals:
  • Achieve racial/ethnic equity
  • Promote economic mobility through educational achievement, workforce readiness and access to family sustaining jobs for residents living in low-income households
  • Steward significant environmental resources in the context of climate resilience
  • Promote regional vibrancy through architecture, arts and culture
