Karoll Melendez is the Executive Assistant to Operations at the Community Foundation. In this role, she is responsible for supporting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), along with the Operations and Finance teams, with general administrative needs.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Karoll worked at BlueCross Blue Shield of Western New York, most recently as an Administrative Coordinator, where she created daily, weekly and monthly reports for the department, managed complex calendars for directors and supervisors, and coordinated travel arrangements for internal staff and external customers. Previously, she was an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President at HealthNow New York Inc. and a Secretary to the General Manager at Filtertek of Puerto Rico Inc.
Karoll received her B.A. in Business Administration and her Master’s in Business Administration in Management with a Certification in Project Management from SUNY Empire State College.
