The CGLI, a fund and initiative of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, was created to increase philanthropy within and for Western New York communities of color and works to cultivate positive change in the lives of trailblazing youth of color. The CGLI’s EPC initiative was designed for young professionals of color who are building their networks while finding ways to give back together and make an impact.  Members work to spark a curiosity to learn about giving – personally and collectively – within communities of color at any age.

EPC membership empowers young professionals on a path to wealth building that will allow them to make in an impact now and in the future. Yearly contributions from each member are pooled together to provide annual grants to organizations serving communities of color. The grant beneficiaries will be recognized at the CGLI’s annual signature event, the Pay It Forward Awards, in November.
